What is Prayershake?
Prayershake is a free, private prayer app for families, friends and small groups. You write a prayer request in one line, choose who it is for, and pray for it in your own words whenever you are ready. When you pray for someone, they hear about it, and they can say thanks.
Is Prayershake really free?
Yes. There are no ads, no subscriptions and nothing to buy. We would rather the app was easy to share than something you had to pay to keep.
Who can see my prayer requests?
Only the people you choose. There is no public feed, no follower list and no strangers. A request stays with the people invited into it, and you can stop sharing it at any time.
Do the people I pray for need the app?
No. If someone is not on Prayershake yet, you can text them a link to a simple page that shows the days you have held them in prayer, with an optional line from you. They can say thanks, join you in the app, or ask not to get these.
Does it time how long I pray?
No. Prayer should never feel timed, so there are no clocks, durations or progress bars while you pray. Guided prayers move on only when you tap.
Can my small group or church use it?
Yes. Start a prayer group, invite people with a link or a prayer code, and share requests between meetings. Everyone can see who has prayed, and group requests stay inside the group.
